Frequently Asked Questions

Connecting with Nick and Cathy Synko was one of the best phone calls I have ever made. Being out of the workforce for some time, with family obligations, had left me desperately lacking that confidence I needed to get “back in the game.” Nick and Cathy work extraordinarily well together, having a unique and special ability that helped me identify my strengths and core competencies that I had overlooked or minimized. They cut through all the barriers that I had unknowingly put up and gave focus and direction to not just help me move forward in a career path, but with my life. Meeting with them and going step by step through their unique process has not only given me the confidence I needed to secure a position I could only have dreamed possible – but it also gave me insight into myself that will last a lifetime.

What happens if I delay coaching?
Every passing week makes your challenge all the greater and increases the cost of unemployment.  You have to decide when is the time, however, we advise people to put a pencil to calculating the total cost of unemployment with each passing week.

Can I find a less expensive approach?
Yes, career books and inspirational speakers do have their place.  However, nothing is quite the same as working through your specific situation with a trusted adviser.

What if I need a job today and I do not have time for a thorough approach?
If urgency is a factor, getting it right from the start can save a tremendous amount of time.

How do we begin?

As I was going through a career transition, I was introduced to Synko Associates by a friend. It turned out to be a blessing. Nick showed me a whole new way to approach a job search by integrating the professional, personal and spiritual aspects of who I am today into my decisions. At the same time, his team introduced a wealth of advice that I could put to use immediately. And, they definitely challenged me to explore opportunities that I would not have considered on my own. Nick and his team became a strong support system through my entire transition.
